I’m a writer, researcher, and seeker of wisdom, exploring consciousness, altered and expansive states, psychological transformation, and human potential. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
My background is in psychology, with graduate work focused on consciousness, spirituality, and integrative health. My doctoral research explored the lived experience of psychological transformation through MDMA, examining the ways in which these altered states of consciousness can shift how we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
My work lives somewhere between research and reflection, bringing together psychology, spirituality, science, and lived experience in the exploration of consciousness. I write about psychedelics and altered states, identity and transformation, connection, music, awe, and human potential. I’m especially interested in the experiences that shift our perspective – the ones that make us feel more connected, challenge what we thought we knew, and leave us seeing ourselves and the world a little differently.
Threads of Consciousness grew from my own search to understand these ideas more deeply. It is a space where I can bring together the different ways I have come to explore consciousness – through research, personal experience, spirituality, and curiosity – without asking any one perspective to hold the entire answer.
Here, I hope to explore what we know, what we believe, what we experience, and everything we still don’t understand. Some posts will lean into research, others into reflection, and many will exist somewhere in between.
