A Thread of Consciousness

Hi, I’m Justley. I’m a writer, researcher, seeker, and deep lover of questions that live just beyond language.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the inner world: what we feel, what we think, and what exists just beneath the surface of ordinary awareness. My path led me to study psychology, where I’m currently pursuing my PhD with a focus on Consciousness, Spirituality, and Integrative Health. My research centers on psychological transformation through non-ordinary states of consciousness, specifically those accessed through MDMA-assisted therapy.

But this blog isn’t just about research. It’s about remembrance. It’s about those quiet, expansive moments that reconnect us to something deeper. It’s about peeling back the layers of conditioning, identity, and expectation to rediscover who we are. And it’s about exploring the experiences that help us return to wholeness.

I created Threads of Consciousness as a space to explore what it means to be truly aware. Here, I write about states of consciousness, inner transformation, and the journey toward deeper connection with self, others, and the universe.

You’ll find reflections on research, personal experiences, meditations on meaning, and journal prompts to help you explore your own consciousness. Some posts are research-based, others poetic. Some are deeply personal, others universal. All are stitched together by a shared thread: the mystery and beauty of consciousness. This space is alive. It’s a digital tapestry, and each post is a thread woven into something greater.

Thank you for being here. I hope this space supports your own unfolding. May it offer insight, resonance, and a gentle remembering of your own expansive nature.

With curiosity and care,
Justley
